I had spoken to the Development Officer at St Columba College which is near Peachy Rd. He informed me that Peachy Rd is almost abondoned however there are great plans for this area as they expect the RAAF base to expand to over 3000 people over the next 2 yrs.

This will add to the development of Peachy Rd as well as the housing development already in progress. The Catholic School has been closed for over 12 months. This was a due to a drop in numbers. Housing development is anticipated to grow to 5000 over the next 5 years.

Because of the oppressive structures and discourse the vandalism and graffiti that exists in the area has become accepted as the 'norm'. Therefore there is a need to raise consciousness to allow people to explore their situations that frame their lives so they can bring about change. Would you agree?

I have contacted the mayor and await a reply to my request of an interview. I some how think this wont happen in a hurry.
